The first conference of Austrian corporate fire brigades took place at Salzburg Airport on 16 and 17 May 2013. Empl was joined by numerous exhibitors in the field of fire-fighting and preventative fire protection.

The technical committee for corporate fire brigades at the Federal Fire Brigade Association held a two-day conference of Austrian corporate brigades and a concomitant exhibition, jointly organised with experts from industry and various public institutions.

Numerous guests of honour, such as the president of the ÖBFV LBD, Albert Kern, his deputy BD DI Dr Gerald Hillinger (BF Wien, the Viennese fire brigade), BD Ing. Franz Humer MsC (Upper Austria) and LBDS Armin Blutsch (Lower Austria) were among the invitees. Empl set up an information stand and a TLF-A 4000/200 in the open-air section of the site.

SHOW VEHICLE TLF-A 4000/200

The chassis for the new TLF-A 4000/200 of FF Bruck a. d. Leitha is a MAN TGS 18.440 4x4H BL. The Empl “Fire Fighter MOD-Tech” construction allows for a crew of 1+6. The cabin module incorporates five respiratory protection systems of the Empl-Eagle type. The vehicle has a 4,000-litre water tank and a foam tank with a capacity of 150 litres of Class A and 50 litres of AFFF foam. The core of the vehicle is the Empl centrifugal fire-fighting pump NP 3000 FPN 10/3000. The pump has been installed at the rear of the vehicle and is entirely oil- and maintenance - free. Operation takes place via the newly developed Empl CAN-BUS H.I.T. controls and the Cameleon low-pressure foam-adding system.

Empl has once again proven its worth as the first stop when looking for individual special vehicles and special industrial solutions for emergency use. Years of experience and professional order handling have served as a convincing argument for several international groups such as BASF, Thyssen Krupp, Audi, Cassidian, Borealis, Sandoz, Qatar Gas, Qatar Petroleum, Oman Refinery Company, Yanbu Cement, SINOPEC and Aluminium Bahrain.
