Safe and time-saving! A control system that allows a tail-lift to be operated from the driver’s cabin.
The control system located in the driver’s cabin can be used to operate the tail-lift not only of the vehicle itself, but also of a trailer. The result - much quicker turn-around times when docking at unloading terminals!
This new system was commissioned by the SPAR retail group and is undoubtedly an important innovation that will enhance both safety and cost-efficiency in the freight distribution sector. The system was developed in close collaboration with the TÜV technical inspection association and the system underwent field testing for 1 year by the user. All technical and safety problems were successfully surmounted.
The newly developed OSS “Operator Safety System”, available only from EMPL, is a highlight for safety in deployment. A computer controlled axle weighing system, warning the driver not only of rear axle overload, but also of dangerous lightening of front axle load during towing operations – with EMPL, safety comes first!
The swinging lifting yoke, developed by EMPL for special “off-road” and military deployment in difficult terrain, is an absolute specialty. The integrated swing dampening system facilitates adaptation of the equipment to the towed vehicle and prevents quick and uncontrolled turning. The system enables opposing twist between the towed vehicle and the towing vehicle.
