Our portfolio comprises a large variety of different special-purpose solutions and equipment options such as double head, force entry vehicle, ... Some highly specific customer requests, however, can still not be covered by this. But: EMPL makes it possible and delivers a highly specialised individual solution for your specific requirements profile – whether as an individual item or in series production.
Being able to address customer requests in such an agile manner is partially due to our extensive machinery, which can be converted quickly, and partially to our employees in sales, production, technology and R&D, who have decades of experience and in-depth product knowledge regarding the development and production of special-purpose vehicles. This know-how regarding the implementation of customer requests is unique in the industry and, among other things, results from the close cooperation with the engineering departments of our two other divisions – commercial vehicles and defence & authorities.
For your customised product, we provide extensive consultation, then jointly define the individual product characteristics and finally modify any existing special-purpose bodies if necessary or develop these completely new. No challenge is too great for our experienced and flexible team. Are you looking for a unique solution to your problem? We are looking forward to finding it together with you!
EMPL vehicle bodies are manufactured with ALU-Tech panels. These combine aluminium cover layers with a PP honeycomb core. The inner plastic coating allows easy cleaning.
When the driver’s cab is tilted, the crew compartment remains mounted to the chassis. This makes the truck easy accessible for service work. Equipment compartment structure and cab are mounted separately so no “additional” tensions are generated when driving on difficult terrain.
Whether analogue pump control stations as per AGBF (Working Group of Managers of German Professional Fire Services), operation via screen using CAN bus system or individually designed pump control stations. EMPL offers the full range of solutions for a variety of different customer requirements.
A CAN bus system is used to control all important devices, call up status functions, observe system status and monitor command execution. It is a universal interface which makes the information from one control device available for all other devices.
EMPL human interaction technology is the simplest and easiest way of operating a pumper. The control uses a fully automatic, self-monitoring system with a 7” LCD colour display with LED backlight in the driver's cab and on the pump control station.
Individual control stations are designed together with the customers control stations from existing vehicles can also be implemented.
The fire fighting pump made of corrosion-resistant light alloy is driven by the vehicle engine. It is equipped with an aluminium impeller for normal pressure. The impeller is mounted on a stainless steel pump shaft and runs on high-performance bearings with lifetime lubrication. This means the EMPL centrifugal fire fighting pump is completely oil-free and requires no maintenance at all.
State-of-the-art paint systems (enamel finish) in-house ensure best possible quality and durability of the paint finish.
Complete chassis and body conservation in 2-layer process to military standard, incl. certification for resistance to condensation and salt spray. This provides perfect protection against corrosion.
