EMPL presents 2 interesting emergency vehicles at FLORIAN 2023!

The FLORIAN trade fair - trade fair for fire services, civil protection and disaster control - will take place in Dresden from October 12th to 14th, 2023. EMPL will be exhibiting two interesting vehicles there at its own stand in open-air area 4.

For the first time in 2023, over 350 exhibitors from ten countries will be presenting themselves to the specialist audience of fire services, rescue services, disaster control and municipal decision-makers in four exhibition halls and on four open-air areas covering more than 30,000 m². An MLF from the Saxony-Anhalt State Procurement Department and a GW-L from the Niedere Börde Volunteer Fire Department will be presented at the EMPL stand.

MLF - Saxony-Anhalt State Procurement Department - Hanseatic City of Stendal - Dahlen Local Fire Department
The Dahlen Local Fire Department's medium fire engine is built on a MAN TGM 13.250 4x4. The driver and crew compartment is designed for a crew of 1+5. 2 seats are equipped with EMPL-Eagle breathing apparatus holders. The installed extinguishing water tank has a capacity of 1,200 l. At the rear is the EMPL FPN 10/2000 built-in pump with a flow rate of 2,000 l / min at 10 bar and pump & roll function. Two C 42 pressure hoses with hollow jet pipes are available as a quick attack device.

The load includes a power generator, overpressure fan, floodlight, submersible pump, small extinguishers, pressure hoses, foam container, and much more.

GW-L - Niedere Börde Volunteer Fire Department
The Niedere Börde Volunteer Fire Department's equipment logistics vehicle is built on a MAN TGM 18.340 4x4. The driver and crew compartment is designed for a squad of 1+5. The structure is divided into equipment compartments (G1 - G2) and a loading area, designed as a box structure with space for roll containers and a tail lift with a capacity of 2,000 kg.

G1 and G2 contain, among other things, multifunctional ladders, pressure hoses, hose carrying basket, rescue basket stretcher, spine board, tool box, protective clothing, chainsaw, and much more. Up to 9 roll containers can be loaded in the rear using an integrated airline rail storage concept. 2 roll containers can be transported at the same time using the tail lift.
