We want to be more than just a supplier for our customers. It is important to us to establish a reliable, friendly, long-term partnership with our customers. This objective can only be achieved jointly and, in addition to our employees, also includes our suppliers and the truck manufacturers. We use an integrated management system (IMS) to ensure that all processes are subject to constant monitoring and control and that they are continuously improved.

EMPL is committed to CSR:

  • Every year, we donate large sums to charity
  • We support our employees’ volunteering activities by providing favourable working conditions, granting leaves of absence and raising awareness for the importance of volunteer work. For this, we have received the award as a “company supporting fire fighters”, among other things.
  • Our public company restaurant freshly cooks three dishes from local ingredients every day and delivers to the welfare service, social organisations, nurseries, daycare centres and other companies nearby
  • Large photovoltaic systems on our workshop roofs in Austria and Germany
  • Targeted measures for reducing energy consumption (e.g. heat recovery for paint shops, energy-saving LED ceiling lights)
  • Company vehicles running on gas and electricity

CSR is subject to strict regulations at our company:

The tasks and authorities resulting from the different requirements, general conditions, standards and laws are collated in an integrated management system and subject to constant monitoring, control and adaptation.

The management defines targets and initiates suitable measures for continuous improvement of the processes and key figures, e.g. quality level, adherence to deadlines, waste generation, energy consumption. This allows the company owner, the EMPL Private Foundation, to ensure the successful existence of the company by providing the necessary means under consideration of economic aspects.
