Pumpers from EMPL: modern, perfectly equipped emergency vehicles with many special technical features to ensure the performance of the fire service and the safety of the public.
EMPL vehicle bodies are manufactured with ALU-Tech panels. These combine aluminium cover layers with a PP honeycomb core. The inner plastic coating allows easy cleaning.
When the driver’s cab is tilted, the crew compartment remains mounted to the chassis. This makes the truck easy accessible for service work. Equipment compartment structure and cab are mounted separately so no “additional” tensions are generated when driving on difficult terrain.
Whether analogue pump control stations as per AGBF (Working Group of Managers of German Professional Fire Services), operation via screen using CAN bus system or individually designed pump control stations. EMPL offers the full range of solutions for a variety of different customer requirements.
A CAN bus system is used to control all important devices, call up status functions, observe system status and monitor command execution. It is a universal interface which makes the information from one control device available for all other devices.
EMPL human interaction technology is the simplest and easiest way of operating a pumper. The control uses a fully automatic, self-monitoring system with a 7” LCD colour display with LED backlight in the driver's cab and on the pump control station.
The fire fighting pump made of corrosion-resistant light alloy is driven by the vehicle engine. It is equipped with an aluminium impeller for normal pressure. The impeller is mounted on a stainless steel pump shaft and runs on high-performance bearings with lifetime lubrication. This means the EMPL centrifugal fire fighting pump is completely oil-free and requires no maintenance at all.
State-of-the-art paint systems (enamel finish) in-house ensure best possible quality and durability of the paint finish.
