HLFA 3 - FF Schwarzenbach
The rescue vehicle 3 of the volunteer fire department Schwarzenbach is built on a Scania P 410 B 4x4 HZ CP31N with CrewCab. The crew compartment, which was specially developed for emergency organizations, is characterized above all by its flexibility, ergonomics and safety.
The driver and crew compartments are designed for a crew of 1+6. The crew compartment has a seat box with a lower section as an equipment box and individual seats, 3 EMPL - Eagle breathing apparatus holders with a yellow-marked integrated safety opening in the seat and an action tower. In the driver's compartment there is a 7" color screen for displaying and controlling all fire-fighting equipment. Pneumatically folding safety steps, including step lighting, specially developed by EMPL, are mounted below the crew compartment doors.
On the left and right, the equipment compartments are sealed dust- and watertight with 3 solid, powder-coated, smooth-running Empl aluminum roller shutters. The equipment compartment in the rear is closed off with a tailgate.
Between the front and rear axles and behind the rear axle there are two equipment compartments with underfloor flaps, which can be used as free-standing bridges (load capacity 270 kg) when folded down. Foldable wheel arches above the rear axle on the G3 and G4 ensure a continuous level.
The roof is accessible above the equipment compartment and is covered with an anti-slip layer of sand. The aluminum ladder mounted at the rear with a step-over bar and step protection to the rear wall of the body, which can be folded down in the lower part, makes it easy to climb onto the roof. On the roof of the vehicle there is a removable water cannon with a capacity of 3,000 l/min, a roof box, a 4-part extension ladder, the EMPL Function-Light light mast with 8 x LED headlights with simultaneous point and area illumination and a rear warning system.
The installed fire water tank has a capacity of 4,000 l. At the rear is the EMPL FPN 10/3000 built-in pump with a flow rate of 3,000 l / min at 10 bar.
At the front of the vehicle there is a permanently mounted road washing boom (pump & roll operation), a Rotzler Treibmatic TR 030/7 frame-mounted cable winch and a C pressure outlet below the bumper. Additional B pressure outlets are located on the left and right sides of the rear. A 30 m distributor and foam rapid attack device with Z4 proportioner (with fine dosing 0.1%-6%) is available for rapid attack.
The extensive load includes, among other things, power generators, B and C pressure hoses, hollow jet pipes, support elbows, distributors, hydro shields, small fire extinguishers (12 kg powder extinguisher, 9 l foam extinguisher, 5 kg CO² extinguisher), foam canisters, entrenching tools, winches, lifting cushion sets, round slings, lashing straps, chains, car jacks, basket stretchers, fire service belts, rapid electric attack, compressed air reels, floodlights, long-distance warning flashing lights, submersible pumps, forest fire beaters, fans, winch accessories, chainsaws, first aid kits, hygiene board pull-outs, chemical protection overalls, breathing air reserve bottles, and much more.
SRF - FF St. Gallen
The heavy rescue vehicle on a Scania P 410 4x4 has a HIAB X-HiPro 232 loading crane and a tow bar at the rear. A Rotzler TR080 cable winch with 8 ton constant pulling force is installed at the front of the vehicle, as well as 2 LED headlights on the sun visor. On the roof there is a roof box, rescue crossbeam, ladder and the EMPL Function Light light mast with 8 LED headlights. Access to the walkable roof is via an aluminum ladder that folds out on the passenger side.
On the left and right, the equipment compartments are sealed dust- and watertight with 2 solid, powder-coated, lockable and smooth-running Empl aluminum roller shutters. All roller shutters are equipped with barlock locks with integrated hand protection and self-tightening rubber bands for closing. The LED light strips, which shine diagonally inwards and provide interior lighting for the rooms, are operated via contactless switches. Between the front and rear axles there is one equipment compartment with underfloor flaps, which can be used as free-standing bridges (load capacity 270 kg) when folded down. In addition, foldable fenders are integrated into the wheel arches of the rear axle to create a continuous level.
The load includes a hydraulic rescue kit, substructure system, lifting cushion set, support timbers, rescue crash kit, grab hoist, shunting roller, power generator, fall protection, basket stretcher, chain slings, round slings, tool kit, chain saw, cut-off grinder, LED floodlights, submersible pump, and much more. TLFA 2000/120 Primus – FF Tumeltsham
EMPL continues to rely on the tried and tested concept of three independent modules: the original driver's cab of the truck chassis, crew cab and equipment compartment structure. The three modules do not affect the off-road capability of the vehicle and the torsional capacity is retained. In addition, no major interventions in the original cab are necessary and access to the drive technology is easy by tilting.
The driver and crew compartment of the TLF of the Tumeltsham Volunteer Fire Department is designed for a crew of 1+6. 3 seats are equipped with EMPL - Eagle breathing apparatus holders for 2-bottle systems. In addition, there is an action tower and a sunroof with a walkable plexiglass pane in the crew compartment. An air conditioning system can be retrofitted at any time.
The tank fire engine on the MAN TGM 13.290 4x4 has a 2,000 l water tank and a 120 l foam tank. In the rear, which is opened using a flap, there is an NP 3000 FPN 10/3000 fire extinguishing centrifugal pump, Cameleon low-pressure foam proportioning system, low-pressure quick attack reel with 30 m rubber hose and the Empl H.I.T. pump control via display. At the front of the vehicle there are 2 LED roof lights, a road washing system and a TR030/7 fire winch with cable pull to the front.
A roof loader on the right in the direction of travel, a 4-part extension ladder with connecting part, a 2-part extension ladder and the EMPL Function Light light mast are mounted on the roof.
The load includes a power generator, hydraulic rescue kit, lifting cushions, battery-powered pressure aerator, universal cutting device, chainsaw, spine board, lighting unit, mini Chiemsee pump, underwater pump, emergency case pump set, water vacuum, portable water cannon, suction hoses, pressure hoses, multi-purpose jet pipes, hydro shield, powder extinguisher, CO² extinguisher, and much more.
LFA logistics - FF Wollsberg
The fire engine logistics of the Wollsberg volunteer fire department is built on a MAN TGM 13.290 4x4. The driver and crew compartment is designed for a crew of 1+8. 3 seats are equipped with EMPL Eagle breathing apparatus holders with a 2-bottle system. The structure is divided into equipment compartments (G1 - G2) and a loading area as a box structure with space for 6 roll containers and a centrally horizontally divided tail lift with a capacity of 1,500 kg.
G1 and G2 include a portable pump, power generator, hoist winch, 2 x 20 l foam canisters, submersible pump, floodlight, floating suction head, pressure hoses, jet pipes, fire extinguishers, and much more. On the side of the vehicle there are foldable free-standing bridges and storage boxes for 2 x 25 l transport containers of oil binding agent, lashing material, belts, round slings, snow chains and tow rope.
In the box body at the rear there are 6 roll containers (flood / barrier, emergency power / light, oil use, technology, pressure hose and lattice box).
